General description

Garlic combination is a stimulant or sudorific formula that relieves stress in the . The herbs work to promote efficient function in the eliminative organs particularly the liver and kidneys.  This formula also increases blood circulation and perspiration.  These actions result in lower blood pressure, increased coronary blood flow and elimination of toxins from the blood.

Another way to cleanse the body of toxins is by stimulating blood circulation, which increases blood flow to muscles and joints.  To accomplish this without straining the heart, we can use herbs that stimulate peripheral circulation.

Chinese herbalists would describe this herbal combination as a fire reducing formula.  It also enhances the water, earth and metal elements while reducing the wood elements.

Garlic combination has traditionally been used to treat atherosclerosis hypertension, hemorrhoids, rheumatism, , poor circulation, colds, flu and indigestion.

This formula is commonly used in conjunction with hawthorn berry, yarrow, the vitamin C family, vitamin A, vitamin E, iron and copper.

·        Imbalances indicating the use of this formula are commonly noted in the heart acupressure point located directly over the heart of the chest.  Imbalances are often noted at the 2:30 position of the left iris.  Use caution in cases of acute inflammation of the kidneys, ulcers and colitis.
